“Courage is the most important of all the virtues” – Maya Angelou.

Welcome!

The OCD Clinics offers comprehensive treatment for persons who are suffering from moderate to severe OCD and Related Disorders in an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) format. Our clinical staff has extensive training and experience in treating OCD.

In over a decade of experience, we have observed that OCD symptoms and obstacles occur most frequently in the home and neighboring community. Therefore our hierarchy-based, graduated IOP takes place in the home setting, where treatment can be applied directly in real time. This allows your individual treatment to be tailored to your specialized needs, targeting OCD where it lives, and fostering maximum gains. You will work 1:1 with a dedicated BTTI (Behavioral Therapist Training Institute) Trained clinician.

Our approach acknowledges that OCD impacts both the family and the sufferer. When appropriate, we enfold the family into the Treatment Team with education, support, and techniques to mitigate and overcome the challenges presented by this disorder. We are dedicated to your recovery.

Why Choose Intensive Outpatient Treatment?

Perhaps you’ve tried seeking help with OCD with a therapist who treats many “specialties” and have seen little to no progress. This is commonly many peoples’ first experience when seeking OCD Treatment.  Or, you have been OCD that is utterly debilitating and a lengthy hospital stay is not for you.  Intensive Outpatient Treatment (IOP) provides a format for expedited symptom reduction not available in weekly therapy visits and without the expense of a hospital stay.  If you have been hospitalized for OCD, Intensive Outpatient Treatment (IOP) is often the “step-down” level of care needed to solidify your gains and facilitate community re-entry.

We employ Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), including Exposure/Response Prevention and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to provide custom Treatment Plans tailored to each person’s individual circumstances. In some instances, home visits are an option.
