FAQ
What makes The OCD Clinics different?
We are the only program in Texas providing 1:1, in-home intensive care for moderate-to-severe OCD. Instead of group sessions in a clinic, we bring a senior clinician trained through the IOCDF's Behavior Therapy Training Institute directly to your home: 32 hours of one-on-one treatment over two weeks (24 hours in-home, plus 8 hours of virtual check-ins). Treatment happens where your OCD actually lives, which supports faster, more lasting results.
Do you accept insurance?
We are a private-pay specialty practice and do not bill insurance directly. This is deliberate: working outside insurance networks lets us deliver the intensity, privacy, and clinician time that meaningful OCD recovery requires, without insurer-imposed session limits. We provide detailed superbills you can submit for out-of-network reimbursement, and we'll help you understand your potential benefits before you begin.
What is the program investment?
The complete two-week program is $8,750: a $380 initial assessment, $3,995 for week one, and $4,375 for week two. You'll receive a clear, all-inclusive figure during your consultation. For comparison, inpatient OCD treatment commonly runs $12,000 to $20,000 per admission and often requires repeated stays away from home.
How quickly can I start?
Most clients begin within one to two weeks of their consultation, once intake is complete and dates are set.
What does BTTI training mean for my care?
Our clinicians are trained through the International OCD Foundation's Behavior Therapy Training Institute, the premier specialized training in ERP for OCD. It reflects a focused commitment to the gold-standard treatment for moderate-to-severe OCD.
What are your results?
We measure progress using the Y-BOCS, the clinical standard for assessing OCD severity. Our clients consistently achieve meaningful reductions in their symptoms over the course of the program. Because every case is different, we'll talk candidly with you during your consultation about what realistic progress looks like for your situation.
Can I work or attend school during the program?
Yes. We treat children, adolescents, and adults, and we build each schedule around real life. Many adult clients keep flexible or part-time work during treatment, and younger clients can often keep attending school. We design your treatment hours to balance your commitments with the intensity needed for real progress.
