“Are you scared enough to get better?”
Perhaps you’ve tried seeking help with OCD with a therapist who treats many “specialties” and have seen little to no progress. This is commonly many peoples’ first experience when seeking OCD Treatment. Or, you have been OCD that is utterly debilitating and a lengthy hospital stay is not for you. Intensive Outpatient Treatment (IOP) provides a format for expedited symptom reduction not available in weekly therapy visits and without the expense of a hospital stay. If you have been hospitalized for OCD, Intensive Outpatient Treatment (IOP) is often the “step-down” level of care needed to solidify your gains and facilitate community re-entry.
We employ Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), including Exposure/Response Prevention and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to provide custom Treatment Plans tailored to each person’s individual circumstances. In some instances, home visits are an option.
