You may have noticed by now in your search for a therapist that a good many do not accept insurance plans, and that is also the case with The OCD Clinic. Why??
A number of reasons, actually; for one, it can cause confidentiality concerns. It is our personal belief that therapy should be held as sacred and private as possible, yet in order to process a client’s claim, we must provide certain personal information about him or her which may affect their employment etc. depending on where they work.
Furthermore, insurance companies typically require a mental health diagnosis and will often determine the type of treatment and duration of services allowed for a specific diagnosis. We refuse to be limited and so should you.
Your health and wellness is your business and no one else’s.
We can, however, provide you with a receipt/invoice/super-bill which you may then submit to your insurance company on your own for reimbursement out-of-network.
We accept cash, check and all major credit cards as forms of payment.
We also accept payment via PayPal and you can pay directly on our site, on this page.
If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you may be charged for the full rate of the session.
Each week of treatment is $3,850. This includes 12 hours of 1 on 1, face-to-face therapy with a fully-licensed, experienced Clinician and twice-daily check-in and accountability sessions during the week by phone, FaceTime or Skype.
